Proof Your SEO Company Stinks.

After David Naylor pointed out a site that had custom file extensions of “.seo” I decided to take a look at how common this obviously terrible practice is, expecting to find the audit trail of one stupid SEO firm.

I was wrong. Grossly wrong.

Take a look yourself: pages with a “.seo” file extension in google. Over 400,000.

    That is pretty funny.

DaveN just cracks me up with the stuff he finds.

Apparently, there’s a file format that they’re keeping secret. It would clever if it wasn’t for the massive amount of stupidity behind it.

This is even funnier than the guys who I see nofollowing their about us pages because they don’t want to “leak pagerank” into their own site.

    Sheesh…

With the right choice of an SEO company to work for you on an ongoing basis, you can expect better search engine rankings, which in turn compliment your SEO efforts with increased traffic. Long term sustainability and profitability are one factors that any company or individual will look forward to, and this is precisely what SEO can accomplish if done the right way.
